A 3-bedroom Westmount unit with original 1920s mouldings. Furniture install, art direction, and a 14-day on-market window.
The owners were downsizing to a condo in the Plateau and needed the Westmount unit sold before the end of Q1 2025. Empty for two years, the rooms felt cold despite their proportions and the original mouldings around every door. Two brokers had already tried; both listings expired.
Walked the unit on a Monday. Quoted the staging and a small refresh of the two front rooms by Friday. On the install day, we brought in a 3-seater sofa, a walnut dining table for six, two reading chairs, and an entry bench — pieces that read as period-correct but not antique. Art was sourced from a Saint-Laurent rental house; the same pieces were used in three other Westmount jobs that year.
Three competing offers within a week. Sold above ask. The buyers kept the dining table and the entry bench; the rest was de-staged in two hours.
